DENTON Staff and Providers
Ed Wolski, M.DDr. Wolski is the Medical Director of both the Denton and Duncanville WOL+MED locations. His medical practice is in the Denton location, and he frequently consults at the Duncanville location. Dr. Wolski graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in Toronto, Canada, where he also did his undergraduate education. In 20+ years, the practice has developed into the WOL+MED Back and Neck Pain Centers and Family Practice locations. Dr. Wolski is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management, he is a member of the AMA, TMA, Denton County Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Practice, the Texas Academy of Family Practice, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. His varied background and strong interest in rehabilitation provides a firm foundation to the WOL+MED rehabilitation programs.
Sandra LynamSandra Lynam has a M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy and a B.S. in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and Oklahoma.Sandra enjoys creating therapeutic relationships in which patients can reduce their pain and live more productively by recognizing their strengths, developing coping skills, and learning adaptive behaviors. She has a wide range of experience in counseling children, adolescents, and adults as individuals and within family counseling.Sandra is experienced in counseling patients with mental disorders, emotional distress, and self-defeating behaviors, advocating for clients within a system, and providing community and family education. Cheryl Henderson, CNPCheryl is a Family Nurse Practitioner, with a B.S. and an M.S. in Nursing from Texas Women's University in Denton. Her professional experiences include working in the emergency room, home health care, nursing home care, & mental health care. Cheryl has experience with the usual & unusual, excelling in each. She is an invaluable member of our treatment team, both Clinically and in Rehabilitation.
Robert A. Helsten, M. DDr. Helsten is a graduate of The University of Arkansas College of Medicine in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Helsten is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. He developed his expertise in Emergency Room Medicine in a variety of Texas Hospitals. His experiences in the ER have made him very adept at diagnosing and treating emergencies.
John Durkin , OT-RJohn Durkin OTR, M.Ed., is the CARF Program Director and Occupational Therapist for WOL+MED. John graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. John also received his M.Ed. in Exercise Science from Colorado State. His professional experiences include: Director of Physical Medicine in a hospital setting, Manager of Work Hardening/Outpatient outpatient orthopedics, Director of Occupational Therapy, Adjunct Professor University of Texas Tech Amarillo. John is passionate about being involved with Special Populations, and enjoys serving his community. John has over 30 yrs of experience in Occupational Medicine, and has been a great addition to the Wol+Med team for 2+years.
Chris Witt, PA-CChris Witt, PA-C, served in the Navy as a hospital corpsman (medic) from July 1995-Dec. 2000. He then received his Undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in 2003. Chris attended PA school at the Medical College of Georgia, and graduated in 2006. Chris is an excellent addition to our competent staff at Wol+Med.
DALLAS Staff and Providers
William Dodge , M.D.Dr. Dodge graduated from the University of Texas at Auustin, earning a B.A. in biology, and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Sant Antonio. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at East Caronlina University in North Carolina. Dr. Dodge is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
Working in the metroplex for 9 years, Dr. Dodge has practiced general family medicine, inpatient care, as well as occupational medicine. He has also devoted much of his time to community medicine, hospital committee efforts, and indigent care. Dr. Dodge has been an important member of the Wol+Med team for 2 years.
Erica RiversErica Rivers holds a M.A. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Texas. She earned a B.S. and a B.A. from Virginia Tech in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise and French, respectively. Along with her strong counseling skills, Erica brings a depth of experience in physiology, physical rehabilitation, and personal training to WOL+MED Pain Center.Erica uses her knowledge and experience from the physical rehabilitation and counseling fields to help patients overcome obstacles to recovery and living well. She is dedicated to assisting patients discover their ability to grow, cope with pain, identify their potential, and live beyond their limitations.
